Last updated: October 31, 2026

This policy explains what personal information CoinPlainly (https://coinplainly.com) collects, why, and what choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Contact form: if you message us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply.
  • Comments: comments are turned off on CoinPlainly, so we do not collect any comment data.
  • Author images: author profile pictures may load from the Gravatar service, which can see your IP address when the image loads.
  • Server and security logs: our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which helps deliver and protect the site, process technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and pages requested.

Cookies

We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Our fonts are served from our own server, so reading CoinPlainly does not send your data to Google Fonts.

How we use information

  • To reply to your messages.
  • To review corrections and feedback you send us.
  • To keep the site secure and working properly.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, Cloudflare, our email provider and Gravatar, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws.

Children

CoinPlainly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
